The Historic Restoration of ASM International Headquarters Completed

In compliance with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation of historic buildings, The Chesler Group and Chesler Construction performed a complete historic restoration of the ASM headquarters building. This project marked one of the first Mid-Century Modern historic building restorations to be part of the Department of the Interior’s Federal Tax Credit Program. The renovation encompassed interior and exterior improvements including new mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, ADA compliant restrooms and egress, window restoration and refurbishment of the unique exterior stainless steel solar shades, repair of steel columns and concrete structural elements as well as vegetative green roof renovation. The design team included: The Chesler Group, Dimit Architects and Timothy J. Norris & Associates.
